The company started life in Barry’s house when he moved to the Brecon area in 1986. Operating as a sole trader, he built up a solid base of customers attracted by the quick and efficient service, and as work increased, Barry took on two architecture graduates to help out. In 2001, Barry designed some shop and office units in Rich Way for a local developer who was already a regular customer. The opportunity to rent a town centre property was too good to miss and the office base was established. Twenty years later, the Covid-19 pandemic opened our eyes to home working, and currently we each work from our homes.
We work on hundreds of jobs each year, mainly in Brecon Beacons National Park, ranging from domestic extensions to conversions of buildings, farm buildings, social clubs and historic building renovation.
We have won many awards over the years, including a Brecon Beacons National Parks award for the Brecon Bowls Clubhouse design, Powys County Council Building Control award for The Pen-y-Cae Inn conversion and extension and Rhondda Cynon Taf Building Control award for a barn conversion.
